Surrounded by mountains that rise to more than 11000 feet (3500 m), Salt Lake City offers a combination of  history, culture and recreation.
The city was settled in 1847 and Temple Square is now the Utah's most popular tourist destination. The conference venue is located within short walking distance to this and other points of interest, including cultural and sports attractions, the Gateway pedestrian mall, brew pubs, and fine dining.
Mid-March is the best time of year to ski, and within 45-minute drive you can reach seven ski resorts (Alta, Brighton, The Canyons, Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, Snowbird, and Solitude), to enjoy Utah’s famous snow.
